Greek revenge tragedy

Dolorous news from Stavros.  My friend, let us call him ‘K’ on account of his name being Kostas, has had his sheep stolen. There are two main suspects:  some travellers with a suspiciously ready supply of precisely whatever you may be looking for a on a particular day and a specific villager called – actually let’s not call him anything because this is Greece and bitter enmities run like a faultine through the most serene of villages.

The loss of the sheep is bad news on a number of fronts: aside from the expense of replacing the sheep,  there is also the loss of income from the feta and, of course, from their previously-reported lawn-moving activities!
